215: 3 Questions to Ask Yourself for the New Year

Listen to Top Motherhood Podcast, 3 in 30 Podcast, about 3 Questions to Ask Yourself to Find What Matters to You in 2022.

Do you ever start something and immediately feel behind? That is how I've been feeling going into 2022, so I decided to do something about it. I went to a coffee shop and started brain dumping, journaling, and reflecting in my notebook, and it was surprisingly clarifying.

In this episode I will share with you how I decided to figure out what matters to me this year and how you can try something similar.

- 3 Questions to Ask Yourself to Find What Matters to You in 2022 -

  1. What is one small habit I could shift that might have a positive domino effect on my family this year?
  2. What might success look and feel like for me? (Define it!)
  3. If I only have three years left to live, what would I want to do/be/accomplish this year?

I loved this episode, Rachel! You’re really striking gold with this personal format. Thanks so much, just what I needed as a Mom.

I love question #3! I had cancer in 2020 and again in 2021, so this question really hit home for me. I’m writing a book about my journey wishing I had journaled more during that time, although my chemo brain hindered any reading or writing I could do those months. My goal is to finish my book not only to pass on to my children but also to help heal me of that trauma. Thanks for the tips!

Oh that is amazing! Congratulations on your book. Writing is so healing for me.
I’m so sorry you have had cancer. My mother battled for 13 years. Cancer is evil. I am sending you all my love!

    Rachel,

I absolutely loved this podcast! I love how real you are and how you are so vulnerable sharing your struggles! I had not listened to your podcasts the past few weeks as I am struggling so much right now to keep my head above water! I’ve been behind on the SAM homework as life just keeps clipping along! Thank you for this fabulous episode! Loved the phone one too!! As always, you have my mind spinning trying to find answers! I can’t wait to do a brain dump like you to try to figure things out!

You’re doing great, Shelley! One day at a time! You don’t have to do everything…just keep doing what you can!
