Summer Adventuring

Chamaine Wollenzien from Wandering Families is a mom of five kids (all born within five years). She is now in what she calls the "glory years" of parenting, with her kids ranging in age from 10-15.

Before having children, she loved adventuring and traveled the world; once having kids, she decided not to stop. She taught junior high school for 13 years and knows the importance of making learning fun for kids and teenagers. She is passionate about helping families feel more connected by adventuring together.

In this class, she will expand on what we've learned in SAM about Loving your People by reminding us to Focus on Fun!

Jen Martin

Getting Organized for Back-To-School

Jen Martin has had a lifelong love of organizing. She started her professional organizing company, Reset Your Nest, in 2020. Her incredible team has grown and now serves families across the state of Utah, tackling any project from single spaces to whole house move-ins in a matter of days.

With four kids of her own, Jen knows how important organizational systems are to the foundation and well-being of a family's day-to-day life.

In this class, she will expand on what we've learned in SAM about Honoring your Needs by helping us to Rock our Routines (and systems and home organization!) as we head into a new school year.

Meal Planning Made Easy

Kelsey Nixon is the host of Kelsey’s Essentials and Kelsey’s Homemade on the Cooking Channel and the author of Kitchen Confidence. She’s been part of the Food Network family since 2008, and she regularly appears on the Today Show, Rachael Ray, and Access Hollywood. Most recently, Kelsey played the role of both executive producer and host of the hit family meets food game show, Dinner Takes All.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Kelsey is a mom of three young children, so she understands the real-life juggle of trying to get dinner on the table! She is passionate about simplifying meal planning and food prep so busy families can enjoy their time together around the table.

In this class, she will expand on what we've learned in SAM about Knowing your Self by reminding us to lean into our strengths and accept our weaknesses as we meal plan for our families.

How to Make Peace with your Body, So You Can Better Live your Values

with Dr. Anna Packard  |  Voice your Values  |  Thursday, October 3 

Dr. Anna Packard specializes in the treatment of eating disorders and body image concerns. After graduating with her PhD, Dr. Packard worked at the world-renowned Center for Change where she provided intensive clinical services to individuals in inpatient and residential treatment for severe eating disorders and other co-occuring disorders such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, and OCD.

As a mom of three children, Dr. Packard understands the struggles we face as busy moms, and she is passionate about supporting women through individual and group psychotherapy.

In this class, she will expand on what we've learned in SAM about Voicing your Values by teaching us how to accept our bodies, so we can free up mental and emotional space to lean more fully into the principles of living that matter most to us.

Understanding your Attachment Patterns

Eli Harwood is a licensed therapist with almost 20 years of experience counseling individuals and couples. She specializes in attachment theory, and she is passionate about helping individuals to understand how patterns that were established in their past are impacting their present relationships–and what to do about it!

She is the author of Securely Attached: Transform your Attachment Patterns into Loving, Lasting Romantic Relationships and Raising Securely Attached Kids. She also shares engaging educational videos with over one million people via @attachmentnerd on Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.

Eli is a mom of three young children, and in this class, she will answer all of our questions about healing our own attachment patterns and raising a generation of children who will be more securely attached.

Helping our Children Use Their Strengths

Dr. Traci Baxley is a professor, consultant, parenting coach, speaker, mother to five bi-racial children ranging in age from 10 to 25. She has been an educator for over 30 years with degrees in child development, elementary education, and curriculum and instruction, and she is also the author of Social Justice Parenting: How to Raise Compassionate, Anti-Racist, Justice-Minded Kids in an Unjust World.

In this class, Dr. Baxley will expand on what we've learned in SAM about Celebrate your Strengths by helping us learn how to teach our children to recognize their strengths and utilize them in their day-to-day lives.

Felicia Kashevaroff

How to Get Your Partner on Board for a More Balanced Relationship

with Felicia Kashevaroff  |  Bolster your Boundaries  |  Thursday, January 23

Felicia Kashevaroff is the founder of Tend Task, a coaching program and app that helps couples figure out equitable household management and communication.

After experiencing a heartbreaking divorce due in part to conflict around an unbalanced relationship, Felicia dedicated herself to finding a way to save young couples from this heartache and to help couples do better earlier.

She is now certified by the International Coaching Federation and trained in a number of modalities, including the Gottman method, Organization and Relationships Systems Coaching (ORSC), small group facilitation, and conflict resolution.

In this class, Felicia will expand on what we've learned in SAM about Bolster your Boundaries by helping us create more balance and communication in our partnerships.

Mia Hemstad

The "Four Bs" of Self-Care

Mia Hemstad is a mom of two kids, a self-care coach, podcast host, and the founder of The No Longer Last Journey,™ which is a movement to empower women to make their wellbeing a priority. Mia is also a survivor of abuse and postpartum depression and anxiety, and she currently lives with diagnosed PTSD and depression.

Mia is known for her honest stories of what it’s like to be a mom with mental health challenges and for her doable approach to self-care. Her honest and inspiring message has led to features in Romper, Yahoo, Love What Matters, and Cafe Mom.

In this class, Mia will expand on what we've learned in SAM about Sanctify your Soul-Care by introducing her unique "4B" framework for prioritizing different forms of self-care.

Living with Purpose your Whole Life

Marilyn Faulkner raised five rockstar children, helped her husband start multiple companies, got a Masters degree in British Literature when she was 45 years old, published four books, and got a second Masters degree in Religious Studies when she was 69 years old.  She has 11 grandchildren and is the definition of living your purpose in every phase of life.

Marilyn is a crowd-favorite guest of 3 in 30, and we can't wait to have her back for this class where she will expand on everything we've learned in SAM about Pursuing your Purpose.

Savor Golden Moments through Organizing your Photos

Casey von Stein, aka Miss Freddy, is a certified Professional Photo Organizer and a mom of two. After 10 years as a professional photographer, she realized that people really need help with organizing and enjoying their photos. She offers remote photo organizing services for clients worldwide, as well as self-paced online courses for those who want to tackle their photo mess on their own. Casey has helped thousands of clients all over the world to move from overwhelmed to overjoyed with their photos.

In this class, Casey will help us to Gather the Good by teaching us how to organize and access our photos more easily, so we can remember our beautiful moments and seasons.

Codependence in Marriage (and How to Avoid It)

Dr. Amber A. Price is a relationship researcher who is  dedicated to helping moms thrive in their relationships with themselves, their spouse, and their kids. With a PhD in Marriage, Family, and Human Development, she loves teaching online courses on things like improving your body image, beating mom-burnout, and finding connection in your sexual relationship. Amber is the mom of four boys, ranging in age from 12-20 years old, and she's the wife of a nerdy chemist, who is also Dr. Price. 😆

In this class, Amber will be expanding on what we've learned in SAM about Communicating for Connection by teaching us how codependence shows up in almost all marriages–and what we can do about it.

Dr. Terri Bacow

How to Know When Your Kids Need Something More

with Dr. Terri Bacow  |  Support their Struggles  |  Thursday, June 5

Dr. Terri Bacow is a well-known expert in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and the author of an incredible workbook for teens titled, Goodbye, Anxiety: A Guided Journal for Overcoming Worry. Dr. Bacow is a Brown University graduate and received her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Boston University. She is currently seeing clients in person as well as via telehealth in her private practice in New York City.

As a mother of two children, Dr. Bacow understands how difficult it can be to decipher whether your child's behaviors are developmentally appropriate or require extra support, therapy, or a diagnosis. In this class, she will be expanding on what we've learned in SAM about Support their Struggles by walking us through some takeaways for how to know when we should seek therapy or evaluation for our children.
