How it Works

Bravery Magazine is an incredible quarterly print publication for girls and boys ages 5-12. Each issue is centered around a strong female role model and includes original stories, fun DIY's, activity pages, and more.

This company is inspiring our children to be their own kind of brave and helping parents teach them how to be more kind, inclusive, fearless, and fair.

Three Reasons I love betterhelp

1) My kids LOVE this magazine, and I think I might love it even more, because I can clearly see the brilliant education that is happening within every thoughtfully created page. Through each hero that is featured, children are introduced to different cultures, professions, and life challenges. I love that this magazine sparks amazing conversations with my kids about topics that we might not otherwise talk about.

2) I also love that each magazine is printed on thick heirloom quality paper with vibrant, unique illustrations. This is not a magazine that will get torn easily and tossed in the recycling bin at the end of the month. It’s meant to become a permanent part of your children’s book collection. I know we will treasure each and every issue that we have received.

3) If you are new to Bravery, I love that you can purchase their older issues if you see a woman who you’d like to introduce your kids to who has already been featured.  For example, there is an issue on Maya Angelou, an African American poet, and civil rights activist, and another on Mae Jemison, the first African American female astronaut to go to space.
