How many of us can relate to this mom? I’m guessin How many of us can relate to this mom? I’m guessing it’s probably all of us. 💜

When she posted this in our SAM community, she apologized for oversharing, and then the SAM sisters showed up for her. There are 27 comments on that post, and they’re full of encouragement, practical ideas, hard-won wisdom from their own survival mode years with littles, and so much solidarity.

And this isn’t just for moms of littles. Moms with teens reach out about concerns. And so do moms of young adults! We are all in this together.

This is what I love most about SAM. My team and I are in there too, and we respond personally to posts. SAM is not a giant course that you muscle through alone. It’s a place where you can say the hard things out loud and have women who have been there show up for you.

If you’re craving that kind of community in your motherhood, comment SAM, and I’ll send you all the details to your DMs. Or find the link in my bio.

When my kids were little and I first enrolled one When my kids were little and I first enrolled one in preschool, I remember feeling like I had to justify it, like I needed a “good enough” reason to want a few hours to myself.

I hear the same thing from so many moms, especially moms who aren’t working outside the home. “If I’m not using the time to work, do I really deserve the break?” And my answer is always the same: you don’t need the time to work, you need the time to be a human. No job out in the world expects someone to be on duty 24/7 without a single break, and yet that’s exactly what we ask of ourselves as mothers.

You aren’t more important than anyone else in your family, but you aren’t less important either, and you belong in the circle of care right alongside your kids. The tricky part is that nobody can tell you what that care should look like for you. Shawnee refuels at a PTO meeting. I refuel n a quiet house. Both of us are better moms for knowing the difference.

That’s the heart of my Self-Assured Motherhood Program. We don’t start with parenting strategies. We start with you, your values, your strengths, and your needs, because everything you give your family flows from there.

Enrollment closes Tuesday, September 22, at midnight MT, and this is the last year I’ll teach SAM in this format. I hope you’ll join us!

Comment ✨SAM✨ and I’ll send you all the details (or find the link in my bio).

The power of community inside SAM is the thing I d The power of community inside SAM is the thing I did not fully anticipate when I built this program six years ago.

I knew I wanted to teach these six principles well, and I knew I wanted women doing the work together rather than alone, but I did not know that a group of mothers given permission to be honest would take that permission and run with it the way the SAM sisters have.

They post the things they have not told anyone about their hardest kid, their worst morning, or the worry that has been keeping them up. And within a few hours there are multiple comments underneath, from women who have been there, who do not flinch, and who have something useful to offer because they have lived it.

My team and I are in there too, responding to posts ourselves, because this is not a giant course where you never hear from me.

That is what you are joining, along with the curriculum. Eight months of real work on yourself, and a room full of wise, compassionate women who will be there for whatever this year brings you.

Enrollment closes Tuesday, September 22nd at midnight.

I hope you’ll join us!

Comment ✨SAM✨ and I’ll send you everything you need to decide whether this is the right season for you.

I’m so confident that SAM will give you a happier, I’m so confident that SAM will give you a happier, more confident “after” that it comes with a full money-back guarantee.

If you invest the time and effort and get to the end of the program feeling like your life hasn’t been deeply blessed by it, send us an email with your completed workbook (so we know you gave it a genuine try), and we’ll refund you 100%.

I can make that promise because I’ve watched it play out year after year, and the women in this carousel are holding the proof in their hands. The change in those circles came from a lot of honest work in their own homes, one month at a time.

We spend a full month on each principle, so there’s time to actually try things instead of collecting one more idea you’ll never get around to. We start with you, because the parenting strategies you already know have a much better chance of sticking once you know yourself and you’re honoring your own needs.

I hope you’ll join us!

Enrollment closes Sept 22. Comment SAM and I’ll send you all the details, or find the link in my bio. 💜

I didn’t become this kind of mom by learning a bet I didn’t become this kind of mom by learning a better script or finding a perfect technique.

I became this kind of mom by doing years of work on myself, so that my son’s biggest emotions couldn’t knock me off my feet.

That’s what Self-Assured Motherhood is. We spend months on you first (your values, your strengths, your boundaries, your soul care), because you can’t give your kids something you don’t have yourself.

Enrollment is open through September 22, and I would love to have you with us.

Comment ✨SAM✨ and I’ll send you everything you need to know. 💜

I nearly didn’t open enrollment this year. What I nearly didn’t open enrollment this year.

What changed my mind was sitting down and looking honestly at my summer, and realizing these principles had been holding me up the whole time without me even noticing. I want to help another group of women practice these principles so they can experience the peace and confidence and joy that I have.

Enrollment closes Tuesday, September 22nd. It only opens once a year, so if this is calling to you, please do not wait.
